EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION
These lay people are often referred to as Eucharistic Ministers. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assists the priest in the distribution of Communion. Responsibilities include: preparing the bread and wine, distributing Communion and clean up after Mass. Another vital part of this ministry is bringing communion to parishioners who reside in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or in their own homes and unable to attend Mass. As an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, you may choose to do either one or both types of ministry.

These ministers are sometimes referred to as Greeters. Being a welcoming community is very important to us. Ushers are the first face of the parish. They greet those coming into our church, offer assistance to those in need, distribute parish bulletins, take up the collection, and distribute other materials as needed.
